Zarate’s Latin Mexian Grill has been closed since pandemic started back in March. They were forced to close per COVID-19 Emergency mandate of Governor Stitt as they had no other way to offer curbside or take-out options.

Owners Jorge and Sandra Zarate posted on their social media page recently a picture of the two of them along with the announcement about reopening their restaurant on Thurs. May 7th. Many Edmondites also responded showing their excitement for the comeback.

Zarate’s offers an assortment of food choices of both Latin and Mexican. My favorite dish which is a Peruvian dish is their ceviche. It is prepared with a type of fish, shrimp and calamari in Peruvian spices along with purple onions, a special green sauce and yuccas.  Very delicious! They also serve Inca Cola which is my beverage of choice when there. For dessert, I love their flan. It is a custard dessert made with brown sugar and a type of milk.

They are located on Broadway near Oncue Express.
